Siemens Welding Boot Camp

Siemens’ Sacramento rail manufacturing plant is a leader in providing rolling stock and related services. The plant sustainably builds rolling stock from start to finish: design, engineering, car shells, bogies, sub-assembly, final assembly and testing. Siemens operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with multiple shifts and offers a great working environment with excellent benefits.

Siemens is looking for skilled Welders to be a part of its team. As a welder you will be expected to perform a variety of component welds, using both automatic and manual processes. Welders will be welding stainless steel, low carbon steel and aluminum. All welding is done to AWS standards.

In order to ensure that candidates have the necessary welding skills to work for Siemens, Sacramento Works and Los Rios Community College has partnered to offer a Welding Boot Camp. The 8 week Boot Camp will provide the technical welding training needed to gain the necessary skills to be employed as a Welder with Siemens.
